Debt Problems?

We all have them; we have all been there at one time or another. Debt problems are universal. The only thing that varies is the degree of the problem and the amount of stress we feel in relation to the debt.  For some people it is a $1000 problem, for others it is over $1,000,000.

It may be your debt problem is temporary; an unexpected car repair, seasonal job lay off or roof or furnace repairs.  Most people can manage these and move on.  Debt problems really become an issue when they are continuous and unrelenting. You feel like you can never get on top of them or ahead of the game. The interest and penalties on your credit cards and lines of credit add up faster than you can pay them and the balance on the credit card statement never goes down.

These debt problems can then lead to other problems, stress, sleepless nights and health issues.   When this happens, it is time to deal with the problem.

Unfortunately when dealing with debt problems, if you don’t get the proper advice from a licensed professional the problem can get worse and actually end up costing you more money.  Like any other industry, there are professionals and then there are individuals who come and go and are trying to make a living off of vulnerable people.  As always buyer beware.

If you have dental problems you see a dentist, if you have legal problems you see a lawyer, if you have debt problems, you see a Trustee in Bankruptcy. A Trustee in Bankruptcy does much more than bankruptcy and they are licensed and qualified to help you.  They are highly educated, highly regulated and the professionals when it comes to dealing with debt problems.
